Alex's Life[]
Alex was born in May 1976, in the United Kingdom. Irene Pepperberg bought Alex in a pet sotre while she was a researcher at Purdue University. In 1999, according to Pepperberg, he could identify up to about 50 different objects and recognize quantities up to 6. When he died, his last words was "You be good, see you tommorow. I love you."
